Hongwei is the vice chairman of probiotics, prebiotics and health branch of the Chinese nutrition society. They are also a committee member of the geriatric nutrition branch of the Chinese nutrition society and secretary-general of child nutrition and food professional committee of the Shanghai society of food science.
