Ralf is a postdoctoral scholar in bio-organic chemistry at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Pasadena. He originally earned his PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Bonn, Germany. He has authored and published numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers and mainstream media articles on sports nutrition, brain, joint, heart, and gut health. Ralf is an inventor of functional foods and dietary supplements ingredients, as well as an award-winning speaker.
