Leslie joined the US Food and Drug Administration in December 2011, later joining the Office of Dietary Supplement Programs in October 2016 and spending the past 6 years as a Toxicologist in ODSP. Leslie received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of New Hampshire and received her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Toxicology from North Carolina State University. In her current role, she is responsible for the safety review of new dietary ingredients (including microorganisms), subject to regulation under DSHEA.
