Sylvie began her RD career in a CNRS/university lab at Metz University, focusing on the key role of microbes for biodepollution for wastewaters and polluted soils for 3 years. She moved after to private companies labs focusing on bioprocesses & fermentation science development for amino acids bioproduction (7 years between Japan & France in Ajinomoto), Probiotics & Microbiome discoveries (12 years in Danone Research with different key RD positions).
Now she’s managing complete translational approaches (from bench to market) for classical & next generation of probiotics as the RD Vice President in Lallemand Health Solutions, managing a group of 40 researchers with an active human demonstration program (20 ongoing clinical trials at different stages). Sylvie is a recognized expert in the health and fermentation sector with strong knowledge of probiotics and microbiome science with public and private experiences. She’s also occupying different sets of associations for collective mobilization & intelligence on microbiome & probiotics science (IPA, IPAEU, APM).
