
Sinéad received her BSc in Food Science from the University College Dublin, UCD, Ireland; MSc in Protein Chemistry from Michigan State University, MSU, USA and PhD in Microencapsulation from Teagasc Moorepark and University College Cork, Ireland. Her doctoral studies focused on encapsulation technologies using protein material for enhanced bioactive delivery, functionality and bioavailability in the body. Following this, Sinéad transitioned into the food and dietary supplement industry to commence research development with leading multinational companies in the area of functional foods and therapeutics. She has since founded her own technology companies, AnaBio Technologies (Food and Dietary Supplements applications) and InsuCaps Ltd (pharmaceutical applications).
