
Zhanxi is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Biological Nanotechnology, a joint program between the University of Cincinnati and the University of Kentucky. He earned his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. With extensive experience in the field of nutrition and health, he has demonstrated profound expertise in research and product development, particularly excelling in probiotics and prebiotics with significant academic and industrial influence. As a Council Member of the Microbial Breeding Branch at the China Biotech Fermentation Industry Association (CBFIA), Zhanxi has contributed to multiple research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Hong Kong Research Grants Council, and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). His outstanding work has been recognized with prestigious honors, including the Excellent Award in the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
