Martin holds BS and MS degrees from the University of Georgia, a PhD from the University of Minnesota, and completed postdoctoral training at NC State, he joined Novonesis in January 2024. Previously, he was VP of Microbe Research at Novozymes and Global R&D Lead at IFF Health, overseeing probiotics and microbiome research. He also held leadership roles at Pfizer (Wyeth) and began his career at The Coca-Cola Company.
