Loren is Founder and President of the United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA), which he founded in 1991 to address the urgent need for a statutory framework for dietary supplements in the U.S. For 45 years, he has been deeply involved in the political, regulatory, and commercial issues facing the global dietary supplement industry, including the development and ultimate passage of DSHEA.
