Hariom is a globally recognized expert in microbiome and aging research, serving as Director of the USF Center for Microbiome Research and Professor of Neurosurgery at USF. His work bridges gut-brain axis, biotics, and longevity science, with over 180 publications and multiple NIH-funded projects. A Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors, he also co-founded four biotech startups translating microbiome innovations into health solutions.
